This journey began with family. This photo represents the love, encouragement, and constant support that helped bring Grateful Hearts to life. From sharing ideas and helping with designs, to brainstorming ornaments and offering steady encouragement behind the scenes, my family has been a foundational part of this path. Their belief in this vision, their willingness to step in wherever needed, and their unwavering support remind me daily that Grateful Hearts is more than a business—it is built on faith, love, and togetherness.
The Original Grateful Heart
The Grateful Heart ornament is the piece I hold closest to my heart. From the moment I was diagnosed, I felt an overwhelming desire to express gratitude beyond the words “thank you” to the two doctors who would hold my life in their hands on March 18th for 6-9 hours while I was under anesthesia and helpless. In those moments, I had no control, only faith that God would guide their hands to remove the cancer from my body.
Creating this ornament became an act of surrender, faith, and love. With determination, prayer (and the help of dear friends who helped me bring my vision to life, just in time before the morning of my surgery), My vision became a reality. This ornament represents love in its deepest form, faith at its highest level, and gratitude with all my heart. It is dedicated to my incredible team of doctors, and to my family who has stood by me through every step of this journey. Thank you.
Pod of Friendships
The dolphin ornaments hold a very special place in my heart. This vision became deeply meaningful as I felt the love and support of my friends during some of my hardest and darkest days—from the fear of my diagnosis and the unknown ahead, to surgery and the long, painful road of recovery. The idea of a Pod of Friendships- with a dolphin symbolizing togetherness, strength, and constant support - overwhelmed me in the most beautiful way, and I was so excited to bring these pieces to life.

Creating the Faith Over Fear ornaments is a process filled with patience, time, and attention to every detail. These are the days that require focus, but they are also the most rewarding. Knowing this piece will bring comfort and strength to someone who needs it makes every step of the process so meaningful, and I absolutely love seeing the final outcome.
